There is not a single person who doesn’t remember exactly where they were on September 11, 2001. The gloom and sorrow that this day continues to bring every year is a testament to how much we were all affected. Never forget.

I cried while watching this. It’s been a long time since I shed a tear.. it’s so terrible what happened.. we should never forget.

I was in 9th grade when this happened. We were outside at PE and suddenly we had to go in early. I got to 2nd block and there it was. The footage of the plane going into the 2nd tower. My choir teacher Mr. Drinkall turned off Channel One (for those that don’t know its dummed down news for teens) and turned on CNN.

We had no idea what was going on. Every block we were fixed to the TV…trying to comprehend something that we just couldn’t at the time.

I know people are bitching about “all this 9/11 stuff” on tumblr today but really? Let’s not desensitize ourselves to this.
